Position Overview
As our CEC Accredited Solar Electrician – Battery Specialist, you’ll lead residential and commercial installs with a focus on battery systems. From Tesla Powerwall to Sigenergy and SolarEdge, you'll ensure safe, high-quality installations and commissioning. You'll uphold Australian Standards, troubleshoot issues, and support junior team members. This full-time role offers a company vehicle, a strong team culture, and opportunities for career growth within one of Australia's leading clean energy companies.
We are seeking a skilled, qualified tradesman who is looking to take on additional responsibilities, leading and developing our electrical team's skill base and instilling efficiency and quality in our operations. You will be responsible for managing small and medium-sized projects, overseeing the performance and skills development of on-site teams, troubleshooting issues, and installing solar and battery systems, as well as residential and new home installations. You will also help guide and develop our apprentices and electricians to ensure smooth operations.
​You will learn to schedule work and be responsible for the on-time delivery of day-to-day work and commercial solar installations. We have an established safety culture, and we encourage all employees to prioritise safety.

Selection Criteria
√ Minimum two years of experience in solar panel installation.
√ Valid Electrical license in ACT / CEC Accreditation.
√ Safety focused with a strong understanding of current legislation and best practice, the willingness, and the capability to hold staff and subcontractors accountable.
√ Competent in using computers and experienced in using a cloud-based Job Management System.
√ Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and achieve high levels of quality with attention to detail, complete understanding, and commitment to WHS.
√ Willing to work additional hours and Saturdays when required.
